Dr. Voloshenyuk has a passion for teaching, science and research. A graduate of the National University of Ukraine with a Masters in science, Dr. Voloshenyuk has worked as a middle and high school science teacher. After obtaining a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences she held instructor positions at several medical colleges and worked as a scientist at a pharmaceutical company. Dr. Voloshenyuk is the author of several scientific publications, patents for invention, and many scientific presentations.

Dr. Voloshenyuk says that Jesus’s words have been the driving force through her scientific and teaching career: “Ask and it will be given to you; search and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you” Matthew 7:7. Dr. Voloshenyuk has been married for 36 years to her husband Sergiy, and has a daughter Olga, who is her pride and joy. “Dr.V” devotes her free time to exercise and loves outdoor camping, diving, roller skating, bicycling and exploring new places.
