Our History

Victory Christian Academy was established in 1984 as a private Christian school providing a quality education for students from preschool through eighth grade.

Victory Christian Academy is an educational ministry of Victory Church, an Assemblies of God church founded in Metairie, Louisiana, in 1979 by Pastors Frank and Parris Bailey. VCA’s beliefs, curriculum, policies, and procedures are rooted in the Statement of Faith of Victory Church, formerly known as Victory Fellowship.

Originally located at 3804 Transcontinental Drive, VCA moved to its current campus at 5708 Airline Drive in 1991. Today, the school is led by Headmaster Nathaniel Bailey, an alumnus of Victory Christian Academy.

When VCA first opened, its students were known as the Conquerors. Today, they proudly take the field as the Gators.
