Victory Christian Academy was established in 1984 as a private, Christian school offering a program of quality education for children from preschool to eighth grade. It is our mission to provide academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment.

Our campus is a small, intimate one where teachers and pastors and administrators know the children. At VCA, your children will be taught by qualified, caring educators that strive to help your children grow mentally and spiritually. We offer an education unlike any other, for we do not simply train your child for the workforce; we show them how to be men and women of character and integrity. Victory is a place where minds do shine with the light of academic excellence, but it is also a place where hearts burn with the love of Jesus.

Our curriculum

In grades K-4, Victory Christian Academy primarily uses the A Beka curriculum. It is VCA’s belief that A Beka’s time-tested phonics approach to reading is the best. Our Kindergarten students routinely score in the top 20% in the Language Arts on standardized tests. In grades 5-8, Victory students use a blended curriculum: Bob Jones, A Beka, Sadlier-Oxford.

Facilities and Affiliation

 

Our campus is conveniently located in the heart of Metairie on Airline Drive next to the Saints Training Facility.  Victory Christian Academy is a ministry of Victory Fellowship. Victory Christian Academy began in 1984, providing classes to students in grades K-6th. In subsequent years, preschool and Middle School were added.

 

 

Enrichment Programs
In kindergarten through 4th grade students participate in daily enrichment classes.  Music, Spanish, and Computer/Library classes take place once a week; Art takes place twice a week. Students in grades 5-8 attend the following classes for one semester each: Latin and PE.
